summer days are :
waking up early, not because you have to be up but because you want to be awake .
eating oatmeal & blueberry granola and drinking green tea for breakfast .
reading psalms and the gospels . on repeat around here .
finding new blogs and links [ this one is my fav !]
driving through greenville with my grandpa -- this man deserves a post of his own, so that'll be coming soon .
introducing my dad to the new mediterranean grill on the block .
making a trader joe's run and returning with a rainbow of fresh & healthy food .
writing letters, listening to bon iver, reading books for counseling .
basically enjoying every moment of this summer . these quiet days at home won't last . pretty soon i'll have to be up before the sun, running and cheering [ and sweating ] all day long . i'll be "that crazy counselor woman" again . i'll be helping girls work through issues deeper than anything i've ever experienced and i'll be talking about the gospel all day long . . . i can't wait, but i also enjoy now . i'm so thankful for every lazy morning, every moment with my family and the chance to have some time .
